How can we help?

What licenses do you offer?

The Bird.i Image Service is a licensed product. However you plan to use our imagery, we offer a license to suit.

‘View’ license – this allows you and any person affiliated to your company, such as employees or contractors, to view imagery in our portal.

‘Download’ license – this allows you to view and download images which you can use off-line. There are still rules regarding image size and copyright which you can find in our full Terms of Use. 

‘Derivative’ license – this allows you to use our API and integrate, edit and transform manually imagery within your solution.

How can I use imagery from Bird.i?

Imagery can only be used in accordance with the application use case included in the plan you select.

These use cases are the following:

Internal –  You, or any authorised users (i.e. any person affiliated to your company such as employees or contractors), are the only end-users of the service.

External – The end-users of the imagery do not need to be affiliated to your company and they may be offered to view the imagery for free; you shall make sure they comply with our Terms of Use.

Commercial – The end-users of imagery do not need to be affiliated to your company and you may charge them to view the imagery as part of your service, they must comply with our Terms of Use.
